Power Draw Bar Install Tormach P/N 31706 for PCNC 1100 Part 9 - TTS Parking Tool

The power draw bar install manual recommends the following:

"It is NOT recommended to allow the power draw to reside 

in the  clamped position with no tool holder in place"

 "This may put undue stress on the TTS collet."

So rather than leave a TTS tool holder in the TTS collet when the machine is not in use I made a TTS parking tool

 

Building the lefting bar for the Tormach PCNC 1100 Series 3

 

 

Steel Eyebolt 1/2"-13 with shoulder for lifting P/N 3014T254

3-Each Full Thread T-Slot Nut 1/2"-13 for 5/8 Slot P/N 94750A584

2 Each 1/2"-13 x1" Long Hex Bolts

2 Each washers for 1/2"-13 Hex Bolts

DIN 894 27mm, 24mm, 20mm & 13mm wrench's

DIN 894 20mm and DIN 894 13mm wrench's

The 20mm wrench is used to hold the spindle in order tighten the draw bar

The 13mm wrench is used to tighten the draw bar

DIN 894 27mm and DIN 894 24mm wrench's

The 27mm wrench is used to hold the cylinder rod from rotating

The 24mm wrench will be used to tighten the cylinder rod hex bolt
